Successional Changes:
- Pandas live in Plateau in Southwestern China, specifically in the areas of the Minshan and Qinling Mountains.
- A panda needs a cool and moist climate to live in and over time they have adapted to that climate ,because they need to get to their food source, by having its thick fur.
- Bamboo is best grown in coniferous forest and is mostly found in places such as mountain slopes. That has resulted in pandas being found mostly on mountain slopes.
- Only a small number of organisms can survive the succession change, since it alter the environment. Pandas could be greatly affected if the climate changes it their homes because than many bamboo plants will not be able to survive then it will lead to a limited amount of bamboo for the pandas to eat.
- The climate does change overtime so organisms and plants have to have the ability to adapt to any climate if not they die off.
Secondary Succession :changes which take place on a previously colonized, but disturbed or damaged habitat.
- An example of secondary succession in the habitat of a Giant Panda would be that they ]]
