Part 2: Evolution/ Ecology
Location on Ardara : The Giant Panda is well adapted to the Orocornia deciduous forest biome. The Climate is temperate and the changes between winter and summer are not as extreme.
The temperatures are more extreme now since the dessert has grown in that area and the Orcornia is not in a very moderate area anymore so Pandas will have to adapt to the new temperatures as well as the other animals. Animals such as the Tiger will have to change a little and grow more fur to keep warm in the winters. Plants will also have to adapt to live in extreme temperatures and live long periods of times without water ,because like Orcornia, the desserts are expanding.
All the biomes have changed from their original location so it affects the temperatures and the animals that can live in those conditions and the plants.
The Giant Pandas population will probably stay the same because they are well adapted for cold conditions. They have fur and they are use to living on the side of mountains where temperatures do get cold. Also bamboo is a very strong plant that can live in harsh conditions as well and is very hard to get rid of or to die off. So this means the Pandas will still have food to live off of. Although it might decrease a little because on of the main predators of panda cubs are Leopards and they are very well adapted to very cold winters. Also they might be better adapted than the Pandas, at first.
